[OZAPRS] Signalink USB weak receive audio

I've changed to a Signalink USB recently to eliminate the complicated   
MixW and Port emulation I've been using to date, but I find the Audio  
from the SignalinkUSB is way too low even with everything cranked up  
to the maximum.

I have an Icom IC703 and Tokyo Hipower Linear running at about 50W.
The Signalink is hooked up in the usual way to a PC running Packet  
Engine Pro and UIview32.
Even with the RX knob on the Signalink at max, and the sound card  
volume at max under windows, I can not decode any stations, but I can  
with the a mono cable between radio phone socket and mic in on the PC.

Packet engine pro shows the audio levels to be way lower with the  
SignallinkUSB

any ideas?
