[OZAPRS] Bad HF noises in Landcruiser ??

My 60 series was very quiet but a neighbours 60 series a few years early
had full scale hash on 27MHz from the oil pressure sender. The engine
was alive with noise.

We bonded the body to the chasis at the front rubber body mounts with
heavy braid and the noise disappeared completely.

My old 24v 1981 MQ Patrol had S9+ on 2m from the mechanical voltage
regulator. It defied all attempts to quieten it, except one. I built a
solid state regulator and goodbye noise.
