I'm running the old Xandros distro on an EeePC. It's quite an
interesting challenge getting stuff to run on it (mainly due to its old
GNU C libraries). I'm having to compile lots of stuff from sources on
the SDK Asus supply.
I do run soundmodem and Xastir just fine (except soundmodem will not
decode 300bd packets. Grrr).
I bought a TinytTrak4 to do 300bd decode, but didn't read the fine print
that it's a "planned" feature. Double Grrr.
MixW does run well under Wine, on an as-shipped Xandros based EePC '701,
and it can be made to talk to Xastir too (this is how HF-Igate VK2ZSZ-4
works. It's a Fedora 10 box though).

I love the 17 second boot times of the EeePC, so I'm going to hang on as
long as possible before going to another distro on the little thing!

Steve.
