Hi Ray and All the others that replied. Sounds like this is a very BIG can of worms and time to get out the book on experiments. I will see if I can put ground rods in, I live about 5km from a volcano and the ground is very tough. Have had to do some fencing in the past and the crow bar gets a work out. thanks again Ben VK5JFK
