There are Win32 API calls too that work for getting the timezone (assuming
it
is set right), but I don't have the details at hand. Browsing the API for
time
might do the trick. I've used in in the past when convering Now()
timestamps
in VB6 to UTC to allow for daylight savings. Before any smart comments are
made about a VK4 even being aware of DST, it was for a customer in NSW :-)
