Hmm.. I dont have a D7 but I assume you can't get the @ character to work
on
a D7 in a message .. Is this so ??

I have a D700 and that seems to work with a @ .. There are often some
differences between these 2 radios that are not imediatly obvious ..

Bobs right in that its the folks with D7s and D700s etc (mobile/portable)
that dont have access to the net or even a perminent dwelling at the time
for various reasons that use the Email APRS functions.. Ive been there
myself and its very handy..
