Welcome Larry,  The basic problem with your beacon that Andrew explained
it
as using the Path of  RELAY,GATE,WIDE

The use of RELAY on HF just isnt there as an ALIAS .. So nobody would be
likely to digi this frame. People are certainly hearing you direct which
is
encouraging.. The frame wont hit the internet in alot of cases via the
digis
and be recorded on findu
unless they have direct connections to Igates. I think 4DMI is the only
one
that has that currectly.

In a nutshell the best path on HF (recomended) is via GATE,WIDE
The use of RELAY is restricted to VHF/UHF operations. There should not be
any RELAYS on HF as a rule.

73 and keep it up Larry as its good to hear somebody up there playing in
VK4
up in the north.

PS. I am heading up to Gympie in a couple of months and will probably be
using 30m as well due to the lack of VHF coverage in such a large area as
rural VK4 and rural VK2
