Norm,

I've changed my station from 7Mhz to 10Mhz for a time to give you a bit
more
to see on the map.

There's a lot of activity on 10mhz at the moment.

It's a real 10 Mhz party! I'm even seeing the "close in" ones today -
Tony, Andrew and Ron. That doesn't happen all that often. All things
considered, it seems that 10MHz will have advantages over 7 for most of
the time.

I tried a quick ping on your station this morning Norm, and got an
immediate response. It's working well and sounds good.

Finally , one for the VK5's ----- Is our VHF to Igate "gate" out of
operation? Findu seems not to have heard from me for almost a week -
I've been mobile on both vehicles in recent days on 2 metres, but no feed
through is apparent on later checking.

PS (for Norm)

We finished reaping before the rain set in here Norm. It goes quicker
when you don't have to empty out the header so often ;-)

We've had less than an inch but it's been spread over a week. There will
be problems elsewhere - Murray Bridge and Mannum have recordings of five
inches for the week. Not good.
