Just a further note on the developments of the Weather station project
here
in Adelaide ..

Andrew VK5EX has made some further improvments to the PIC firmware to
allow
for a connection to ANY TNC using Converse mode now .. He has it currently
running on a UI-Digi 1.9 Beta1 as a AUX input.. He has also made provision
to connect it to a Stock standard TNC like a TNC2 KPC or PK232 etc etc
using
Converse mode which covers just about any TNC on the market..

This uses the commonly available Radio Shack weather station sold as a
WM918
in Australia to send out position-less APRS Wx reports..

Anybody else want to build it up and give it a try??
