[OZAPRS] MFJ-1270X TNC

Hi all,

Ive recently purchased a MFJ-1270X TNC.

Currently the setup uses a Direwolf and audio card that works fine but 
want to move that to HF rig and intend using for VHF packet and APRS.

Having trouble talking to the device.

Both Linux and Windows recognise the USB when connected. Can connect to 
native Com port under windows however unable to gain a response using 
the TXTest program under Windows, or from direct serial connection under 
Linux.

So before I get involved in an expensive and time consuming return 
process, can anyone offer guidance as to how to verify config and 
testing of this device ?
