[OZAPRS] APRS vs GPS

I think more what Andrew is wanting to show is the quantisation error that APRS has with respect to raw NMEA. You can see that there are only a few distinct X and Y coordinates on the orange (three each), where as there are a lot more with the purple. Interesting graph.

And a thought for those posting links to Blogs and news sites - we occasionally have people looking back through the indexes for something they saw, or don't get a chance to look at the mailing list for days or weeks after the posts were made.
