[OZAPRS] APRS Igate/Sgate on Raspberry Pi?

OK guys, how is it done? Links? ideas? I want to put my Igate away at the
back of the shed. this seems like the ideal way to do it.

What do I know so far?
RPi will run a form of linux off a memory card, I think.
Same, same a version of Xastir
There is a hardware TNC (TNCX?) which directly interfaces to the RPi board
A USB soundcard is a possibility but there are issues.
