I think the answers have been pretty comprehensive and to the point.
You asked for info on an I-gate - an Internet Gateway, to gate from RF 
to the Internet. That means running software and an IP protocol stack. 
That pretty much prescribes some sort of computer, and you've been given 
plenty of interesting options.

Did you *really* mean a simple RF-RF digi instead?
