Thanks Guys for I think a little help, But I really did want info in setting
up a simple stand alone (no computer if possible). But the question appears
to have change, but that's probably normally around here.
Cheers
Robert

Hi Liz,
I use a few Dovado Tiny routers to interface ethernet to USB 3G/4G dongles.
The Dovado does the login to the internet, has, a WiFi access point, a ping
watchdog to reboot the connection or the router if it falls over, can e-mail
you when the connection is reset or restarted and if your 3G/4G service has
amobile number attached to it, you can also query its status or reboot it
via SMS and setup a VPN. Heaps of features.
I get mine from Telco Antennas in VK4 -
https://www.telcoantennas.com.au/site/catalog/4g-equipment/4g-usb-routers.
Around $150.00.
According to the Dovado website your Huawei E220 modem will function in the
router.
Hope this helps.
