Hi Andrew,

It's pretty easy to create a map from openstreetmap.org, if you're willing to create the .inf file by hand. I'm sure there's a script somewhere to do it automatically.

I have created several UIView maps of the Sydney area (e.g.Sydney metro area/Northern Beaches/Hawkesbury area/etc to suit my particular needs). I'm happy to send them to you.
