[OZAPRS] Off line maps for xastir

What do people use for off-line maps in xastir?

Uplift-2 expected to fly Tuesday week, wotzup.com/2012/09/live-tv/ and
to be flying over and landing in areas which aren't covered by OSM
(since the removal of stuff which didn't meet the new licence) or FOSM,
which has the fuller data set.
I do have 'sid' format maps from NSW LPI of the topographic series
1:100000 which can be exported to 'tif', and I do have the NATMAP raster
maps, but only to 1:250000.

The information in the http://www.xastir.org/wiki/HowTo:MAPS is sparse.
