I have hacked a solution whereby the passcode is hard coded into the
software.
For anyone else who finds this later and wants some help
in open2300 source code
line 371 of linux.c
        sprintf(buffer,"user %s pass -1 vers open2300 %s\n",

change the -1 (which codes for do not transmit) to the code you obtain
by using callpass from the xastir package.
