I have one of the first computer generated Calls, it was certainly a 
mouthful until I moved almost completely to digital, so I commiserate with 
your problems.

My first callsign was vk2zsx and for a while I was communicating with
vk2zxs. That combination made for a mouthful. Sitting the morse and
becoming vk2bvo was quite a blessing.
