[OZAPRS] Reverse Gate HF ( Was Help with port 14580 )

David,
I go 4Wding a bit and I have a number of non-amateur friends and relatives
who track our progress.
If I went by the recommendations, they would have to track two SSID's as the
-9 would "stop" when I ran out of VHF range. A similar thing could occur if
they were watching -15.
There would be two icons reporting different positions for the same
vehicle/unit; very bad.
Being ex-Army, "track correlation" means everything to me. It is for this
reason I have both TTs configured with -9. This means only one SSID to track
and my current position is displayed; irregardless of how that posit made it
into the system.
For those few who are interested in knowing how a posit got into the
system, they will know to look at the path.
So why do I run HF and VHF?? HF is the only option when I'm away. When I'm
within VHF coverage, I use that because there is more capacity and it leaves
the limited HF resources for those that need it.
I use the same callsign for voice regardless on what band I'm operating on
so why should APRS be any different??
