If you have a quick squiz at the class license (http://www.comlaw.gov.au/ComLaw/Legislation/LegislativeInstrument1.nsf/asmade/bytitle/252D64DD8DE87F66CA2573ED000D00E1?OpenDocument) for overseas hams, they're required to add a 'VK suffix' to their callsign.

Looking at the insanely tiny regs doc for NZ hams (WOW they ahve it easy - no fees either!) (http://www.rsm.govt.nz/cms/pdf-library/resource-library/gazette-notices/Radiocommunications%20Regulations%20-General%20User%20Radio%20Licence%20for%20Amateur%20Radio%20Operators-%20Notice%202010.pdf), you can add the ZL to the beginning or end of your callsign when visiting NZ - and separate it with a slash, as you showed below :)

Cheers,

Damien
