[OZAPRS] RA1AMW?!?!

Hi Gents,
I believe the correct form of callsign for a visiting ham in NSW for example
is VK2/homecall just as mine is ZL3/VK6KW when I visit the grandies over
there. Not sure how this format translates into the recognized SSIDS for
APRS, unless one can add the text "portable VK2" in each packet?

Ahh, I see they changed it in 2008, so you can visit australia for up to 90
days at a time without having to get a temporary call - you just have to add
'VK' to the end of your callsign..

So I guess he should really be RA1AMWVK-7 :-p
