The HE Tunnel is a temp arrangement. The IT person where the server is
located is waiting for the Christmas period embargo to be over so they he
can arrange it

(I will then set it up as vk4tttipv6.aprs.id.au

Vk4ttt / vk4fq

IP resolves to vk4ttt.aprs.id.au aslo it has a IPV6 address
2001:470:e949:0:20c:29ff:fe64:7b81
I do believe that this is the first APRS server to have a ipv6 in the land
down under.

Worth getting a provider that can give you native IPv6 as opposed to a HE
tunnel?

There is no AAAA record for vk4ttt.aprs.id.au, probably want to add that if
you want people to use it over ipv6 :-)

Also 14501 on ipv6 just closes the connection, 14580 works just fine.

Finally worth reading http://www.ietf.org/rfc/rfc4890.txt around section 4.4
to ensure your desire to drop ICMP doesn't break anything like PMTU with
ICMPv6 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ICMPv6

Cheers,

JB
