Err, ham radio operator?, public sevice during emergency. APRS 
encourages mre people to become hams approach. I would be very surprised 
if they would have any objection. Shrug, if you don't ask you will never 
know.

Hint, an organised mail out to candidates in any election might not get 
a result, but if nothing else it educates them.
