There is an article in December 1987 AR titled The VK2AWI Packet Radio 
Bulletin Board by Andrew Keir VK2AAK

I've been through AR from 1987 to 1999 and didn't find an article from 
Dave listed in the index. I'll  have to dig deeper into the regular columns.
