So he will always stress the *local area* for RF. He would consider 'a few
100 km' out of local range. This is also why he gets pretty vocal when
stations use large WIDE values. Of course, what exactly rates as *local* is
a bit subjective. We don't have 310 million people jammed into the same area
in VK.

On the other hand, if it's not creating a large volume of traffic in your
local area then who cares :-)
