A sensible and helpful reply would be to refer Chris to the official APRS in 
Australia site either:

http://www.aprs.net.au/vhfaprs.php for VHF applications or

http://www.aprs.net.au/hf_overview.php for HF applications

 rather than the  nonsensical and presumably "tongue-in-cheek" (?) cr*p 
suggested below.
