  We are getting close to moving the antenna up the tower at Radar Hill.

   

  We will be installing a 2m folded dipole approximately 80m above ground level so will have a significant coverage.

   

  Currently it is programmed as a WIDE1-1 fill in digi.

   

  Should we change it to normal digi instead of a fill in.  It will most likely have an excellent path to two Igates at VK4OG and VK4UN

   

  Currently the settings are UIDigiCall             =       WIDE1-1

   

  Some suggestions are UIDigiCall             =       WIDE1-1,WIDE3-3,WIDE4-4,WIDE5-5,WIDE6-6,WIDE7-7,WIDE3-2,WIDE4-3  to limit excessively long paths but I don't really understand why putting say a WIDE6-6 would actually limit long paths.

   

  Anyway, open to suggestions.
