Hi Rob and others,

I would tend to suggest 40m is better for NZ rather than 20m due to the 
distances involved here in NZ.

 From experience, BBS forwarding is far better for longer periods on 40m 
both day and night but have found 20m better at certain times by 
comparison, 40m still wins hands down tho.

I would think that the 1 or maybe 2 stations that run APRS mobile at 
times, they would be happier with 40m as a good all round daytime band 
here in NZ.
