[OZAPRS] TinyTrack3 Plus GPS Combo- Problems

I didn't fully answer you questions
The TT3plus comes with a power cable with cigarette lighter plug.  
This supplies 12V power to the TT3Plus, which in turn supplies 5V via  
the serial connection, to the GPS2.
In the shack for configuration and testing I use a gel cell. In the  
car, the 12V (permanently on) cig lighter socket.
