This one's easily fixed :) (90% of my production servers are vmware images
now - makes for quick failover when hardware dies)
1) Install VMWare tools into the client VM
2) shutdown client vm
3) open .vmx file for vm on vmware server. set tools.syncTime = "TRUE"
4) start up client vm
5) Set the time (and time zone!) correctly in the client VM (ntpdate on
linux or net time on windows)
6) reboot the client VM
done :)
Now provided your keep the vmware HOST clock synced, your clients will never
go out :)
