[OZAPRS] Delayed traffic ?

Gentlemens (and ladies if there be any),

I've been doing some visual obs on the ISS in the past three days or
so. It seems to be about 2-3 minutes behind what my tracking programs
claim.

The keps in use are the latest weekly's from AMSAT, but both
InstantTrack and Orbitron give acquisition and pass details a few
minutes ahead of what I actually see outside of the back door. Both
nights I was on the point of giving up only to see it appearing low on
the south-western sky - well behind where I expected it to be.

My computer clock is fairly close to the mark; I've been using an
on-line source to update, and a recent check on WWV suggests that it is
pretty well on the mark.. It could be - and almost certainly is - the
case that there is a problem here with keps or time or something, but
it's not obvious at the moment. However if my obs are correct, it may
be a factor in what Andrew is seeing.

BTW last night ISS was really spectacular in a pass very close to
overhead at my QTH. :-)

And for the space minded here is a link sent to me by gliding friends
earlier today - I suspect that some of them are on the ISS. I initially
thought one of the pics just might be taken over New Zealand, but it
doesn't completely agree with my reading of the maps here. Amazing
stuff however .... 8-)
