The original APRS included DGPS correction as well as local diffirential
transmission.  Your home APRSdos would compare its observed GPS position
to its known position, and could then send out an offset to all local APRS
stations.

But once they turned off S/A, there was not much need for it and none of
the APRS follow-on clones implemented it...
