I'm guessing in Summer there may be some ducting that would allow for the
longer paths - it isn't uncommon for VK5 and VK7 to get into VK3, and we
have had VK4 getting directly into Sydney on the odd occasion too . . .

6 MY POS reports - From Kurrajong would most likely be:
VK2RSW-1 (Fill-In @ Blaxland)
VK2INT-1 (Fill-In @ Campbelltown)
VK2US-1 (Sydney CBD)
VK2RAG-1 (Somersby)
VK2RUW-1 (Wollongong)
And potentially VK2RTZ-1 (Sugarloaf)

G'day Geoff,

I had a bit of time this afternoon and decided to drive up to Kurrajong
lookout to see if I could get directly into VK2RGL-1. I had a contact from
there before with a station using the Forster voice repeater.

No luck though. I checked via APRS.fi to see if it heard me direct but it
hadn't as far as I can see.

Perhaps I was pushing my luck a bit there.

Whilst up there, at one stage I got 6 times "My Position" back but can't
work out which digipeaters they all were.
