Thanks Mike,
Not quite what I was after however dam useful, so I have down loaded the
UIview addons.
I was more interested in the path the packet took to the Igate, more so
than the path of the car, however as above this is very useful. I wanted
to make sure I had my path and Wides set correctly. I have found
multiple locations for paths. Unproto is set correctly (APRS v
wide1-1,wide2-1) however after connecting the TNC to UIview it has placed
ARU25N in another path that I am yet to work out. Apparently this is the
version of UIview.
Once it is running I can see what the actual TNC will do in a mobile
environment (I suspect this other path is used for the internet direct
connect.)
Regards,
Shaun Pitcher

Hello Shaun,
Not sure if this is what your after.
> So my question is how do I monitor its path?
http://www.db0anf.de/app/aprs/stations/ this web site shows some nice
statistics and has a mobile activity page that shows position plots along
with a snail trail. If you use AGWTracker this has the position plot and
snailtrail option built in. If using UI-view you will have to get a copy
of
the add on UI-Route from here http://www.apritch.myby.co.uk/uiroute.htm .
Mike.
