Gday,

Tomorrow it is planed to change the frequency of the following Digipeaters
and IGates to the National APRS frequency of 145.175Mhz.

VK3RPG-2

VK5JFK-1

VK3III-1 (ex VK3SSS-1)

VK3KAY-1

VK3JTM-1

VK3JTM-5

All APRS station in the Wimmera & Western Districts of Victoria and SE
South
Australia will be required to change frequency over the next few days.

After the work is completed all digipeaters will support the New Paradigm
path of WIDE1-1,WIDE2-1 as well as the currently used path RELAY,WIDE.

To help you understand which digipeaters operation on what frequency read
on;

Digipeaters with an icon (a green or yellow star) which have an 'E' or '1'

overlay operate on 145.175MHz

They support the old path of RELAY,WIDE and the new path of
WIDE1-1,WIDE2-1

Digipeaters with an icon (a green or yellow star) which have an 'S'
overlay
operate on 145.175MHz

They support only the new path of WIDE1-1,WIDE2-1

Digipeaters with an icon (a green or yellow star) which have a 'U', 'T' or
'R'

overlay operate on 144.900MHz

They support the old path of RELAY,WIDE and may support the new path of

WIDE1-1,WIDE2-1

The exception to this rule is VK3HJQ-1. This Fill-In digipeaters (aka
RELAY
only digipeaters) is currently operating on 144.900MHz.

It support the old path of RELAY and the new path of WIDE1-1

All digipeaters use the SSID of -1. As some digipeaters have multiple
functions the -1 represents the digipeater function and the icon / overlay
may represents other functions. Eg VK3TI-1 is a Weather station and
Fill-In
Digipeater that supports the RELAY and WIDE1-1 aliases.

Cheers

Richard
