[OZAPRS] VK1 reception issues? (Carl Makin)

Hi guys,

I was coming into Canberra from Goulburn in the North and then onto the
Snowy Mount Hwy in the South. I could decode posits approx 80km either
side from the tops of hills .. I had only 5 of my positions digipeated
back while in Queanbeyan .. I am setup as RELAY,WIDE2-2 running 30w into a
1/4 wave .. I also got coverage around Cooma by an unknown  digi that
digied back my position but I heard nothing else.

What I though unusual was the sheer volume of positions I received while
in range... My D7 was almost continuously beeping with positions received
as if the VK1 digi was spewing out the whole VK/ZL internet feed? If this
is the case it may explain why I couldn't get into it as it may have been
100% saturated with unwanted DX QRM?
