Allen from VHS has been hearing you !
He has taken all this on board and is doing a re-think.
Just an intrerest gathering process.
He now knows we have a healthy interest in the need for such a device.
No commitment what so ever.
I am sure we can nut something out
Something around 8W
Something freq agile
Something avoids collisions
Something with TT3 or opentracker on the back end.

Umm, Andrew remove me from that list really did not give it a lot of
thought
whilst I really liked the idea of having something stand alone discreet
just
for APRS that I could put away some where and more or less forget about it
I
can though see many problems for others by using one.
In a busy metropolitan areas just imagine the possible problems what half
a
dozen of these transmitting on top of others could create I can imagine a
receiving a few, possibly abusive, emails.
