Gonna confuse you a bit more - I run mine at 10.8 volts. (ZL1VFO-10) I do
know 12V is too much for them, you run the risk of doing in the Tx
transistor.

I probably should make up a dedicated power supply before someone knocks
the
variable one it's on....
