Addendum to previous mail re dm-2550 voltage regulator

 

The dm-2550 manual states - power supply voltage  - 10.8volts +/- 10%

 

So that would be 11.88 v to 9.72v

 

And yes, you do blow up the tx transistor if you feed it 13.8v on high
power
(doh!)

 

I can supply the manual to those who do not have one - its prtty basic but
helps.
