Agree completely.  Such kind of network alignment would only be
one with the agreement of all parties.  I was just pointing out
that such technnical solutions are possible to work around
coverage problems.   The point being was that if 3 hops would
generally be the desired receommendation in a given area, but
the only thing preventing such a receommendation was that in one
direction, the 3rd hop was causing QRM to another area, then it
might be possbile to agree to let the one or tow digis in that
one direction trap out the 3rd hop so that the rest of the
original area could have the 3 hops that thye think they need.
If the alternative is to force them to 2 hops, then that may not
satisfy their needs either.

But I agree completely, that everyone needs to work together and
not take any unilateral action and make sure any place where
unusual arragemenets have to be made, that the digis fully
publicize those non-standard configurations.
