In this case the path was required for a limited time to allow maintenance
to take place on several digipeaters. Normally different pathing is used
for
IGate traffic.

That will cause issues, possibly reduce RF network transparency and may be
introduce ill feelings and reduced cooperation between neighbours which is
a
negative result we that we don't want in Australia.
