Hi to all from Rory
Thanks for all comments. 5v versus 12v may be the problem??
TinytracII TNC & Magellan 315 GPS. Got proper magellan cable in Perth & 9
pin female line socket, same as on TNC made a gender bender earth to earth
& pin 3 through. tried pin 2 as well but no difference. Green led on TNC
does not light either intermittently or solid so assume no GPS signal.
Have hooked up & transmitted as that part woks but seen no data on APRS
site. Have tried all NMEA output settings on GPS. So not sure what next. 

Heading for Gold Coast in a few minutes. Sat 8.30am
