[OZAPRS] weather stations

Hi John,

The most popular and probably cheapest weather station to use is the
WMR-918/928/968 series from Oregon Scientific. If you want a more robust
system then go for a DAVIS but be prepared to pay well over a $1000 for
it.
(DSE have the WMR928N for $725 cat# Y5195)

Software that supports both APRS (UI-View) and the Oregon Scientific Wx
stations can be downloaded from http://www.freewx.net/

The wx station connects to the PC using an RS232 port and you will need to
run the PC 24*7. The PC dose all the wx data logging etc. and APRS
interfacing. If you have a web page FreeWX can auto update it with the
latest wx from your wx station too.

Cheers
Richard
