Thanks Henk,

Hey I had a go at the LINUX version as well. IT is a bot more complicated
than the windows one.

I had to install libax25 then the deeper i dealved the more and more it
seems you need an ax25 capable kernel.

I gave up at the point of having to enable ax25 support.

As per windows, yeah I tried normal 1200 baud packet mode and then tried
9600 kiss mode.

I used hyperterm to set it up into / and out of kiss.

Hey here is a thought, if I loop back the serial port, would I expect to
anything ?

Does the windows version of digi_ned have a "show all" ?

Cheers ...awesome program

PS my tnc is a kpc3 and it takes intface kiss reset to make it go

Will have another go, cheers

No, DIGI_NED sends some data to the TNC to switch it to KISS. It looks
like the TNC doesn't interpret the commands to switch to KISS but instead
transmits them...

Maybe you can switch the TNC to KISS manualy before starting the floppy to
see if that helps.

In the directory KISS you will find a KISS_DNN.INI, this contains the
commands which are send to the TNC to switch it to KISS. Aparently it
doesn't send the right command for your TNC. Just change it with a text

Oh, that's easy, just erase "dnconfig.bat" in the root of the floppy. This
batch just sets an environment value which is used by "run.bat" in the
digi_ned directory.

Kind regards,
