Gday,



Today we went back to Tocumwal to see what was wrong with VK2RO-1. We
found that there are still mains power problems and the SLA battery was
down to 4.4V. (Don’t know how much damage that will have done to a new
SLA)



We restored mains power and installed a battery guard which cuts off power
to the radio when the supply voltage drops below 10.5V. It switches on
again at 12.4V.



As the problem is still not resolved the digi will remain non-operational
and beacon at a reduced rate.



If all goes well for a few weeks the digi may operate as a Relay Only
Digi. SiteAlert may also be installed on the digi to provide more details.
