	My opinion

	The screen is no good.

The etrex basic is heaps better

I bought a GPS18 from (antenna and gps built into a hockey puck) for $175

	cheers

Hi all,

I was wondering if the Garmin Geko 201 GPS would be ideal for the use with
APRS?

It has the NMEA 0183 output so I am guessing that it is. Not a bad price for
$249 or $282 with PC cable, $337 with cable and Garmin software. from Johnny
Appleseed.
