Hi Richard

All appears okay this morning I have not seen any digipeating yet myself.

I am almost sure I have read in HF APRS specs that you shouldn't digipeat
to HF. That's the reason its a HF gateway, HF gateway to the VHF network.

I have had a HF gateway running for a year or two now and have copies
VK3MY all that time and this HF digipeating problem has only just started
the last few weeks.

Another possible problem just occurred worth considering specially when we
will have a station VK5EX working in remote areas soon and if we start to
get message traffic on HF things will get very difficult. I just had a JA
connect to me through VK3WRM I think it was. You can below see the band
space that it taken up.

Just something we need to consider if we are going, as we are I hope, to
establish a worth while and working HF APRS network.

I suggest that if others want to experiment with digipeating on HF they
should perhaps consider an alternate frequency to do so.
