When at home I can monitor both of those frequencies but when mobile can
only use one.
Initially I will be using the agw packet engine and sound card in the
laptop
while mobile.
However I understand the TT3 can work at 300baud so will ultimately go
that
way to save the laptop bouncing around in the car.
What audio frequencies does agw and the TT3 use at 300 baud?

We are working from our end for a VK ZL APRS frequencies at present we
are suggesting 10.151. 7.036 LSB dial these are assuming the modem tones
are 1600 and 1800 Hz if you are going to use different tones you will
need to calculate the new frequency before you order the crystals.

On another note my new Tinytrak V1.1 IC turned up last weekend after
making a new lead for my IC706 it all worked well although I only tried
it around town. Next month I am off to Nelson for a few days and will
test it more then.

Hi All,
I have been experimenting with HF here in Central Queensland but have
not heard anything for a while. I have not been transmiting but just
listening. There is a big gap with APRS coverage between here and
Brisbane (about
550km) so HF seems logical to fill in that gap.
I have a 707 and 130s and I intend to purchase crystals for them as the
vfos in each are not stable enough to leave unattended.  The 707 would
stay at home and the 130s would be fitted to the car. So I need
definitive frequencies to purchase the crystals for.  Given the need to
look at between here and Brisbane 40m seems a reasonable place to start.
Can anybody offer advice? Thanks Ron vk4ags
