excessively short intervals was to pass within my local radius which would cause
me to send excessive position beacons to RF, for which I’d like to see a DW
parameter to limit the number from any particular station within a time
period. In an ideal situation the excessive or multiples wouldn’t be sent

<DIV>Fantastic. Thanks. I’ll have a deeper look at that data. - that’s a
separate stream of data in testing via vk1xt - from ESA’s website on the things
they are doing, from dog bites to house fires. </DIV></DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>The polygons are an interesting beast. Myself and 1MA noted on say
xastir being fed by Direwolf they appear one minute. Gone the next. When they
were visible there interesting. The line colour around the fire edge even was
the same as the standard alert colours and relevant to that fire - blue, yellow,
red etc. </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>I have also been in contact with the AU WX BOT developer to make sure I am
using the service to the best of my ability. </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>The WX BOT data goes out roughly every 15 mins from that data stream so
yes, every fire within 100km of RGI during jan every 15mins was overwhelming to
say the least. I am sorry for the data hog on the air, but as you note it was
the quantity of the fires / data going out. </DIV>

<P class=MsoNormal>Thanks to all that helped. I now have all fire
and serve weather going out with a range of 150km from the location of
VK1RGI-1 (picked for testing) - the server seems to re transmit and
therefore broadcast the alerts at Minute 16,36,47 and 2(?) approx of the
hour so if there is a lot of fires or alerts within that 150km range it
cant be abit of a blast of data going out.<U></U><U></U></P>
