Ask yourself if you want a 0.1uV rx that clams up to maybe many uV (or blocks completely) under harsh conditions, or a rx that hears 0.3uV 24/7. Standing current of the 828 is also respectably low, around 250mA when muted. If you take low level audio and keep the volume control wound right back the standing current doesn't change when a signal is received. The FM828 tx is continuously rated at full power (25W) and the unit will work over the range 10-16v. Try that with your Yaecomwood! <br><br>The rx in the Philips FM814 base station is directly from the FM828 mobile.
